Educational & Workplace Cooking Classes

Culinary Master Classes

for
Music Students

Cooking is an incredible way for music students of all ages to practice self-care and find creative inspiration.

I offer cooking and meal planning master classes for conservatories and university music schools, giving those students access to important and often overlooked support from a relatable and reliable source.

I also offer music-themed cooking classes to younger age groups, which makes for a fun and unique addition to your private studio or music school’s educational programming!

Workplace & Corporate Classes

Whether you run a music school, a professional orchestra, a small ensemble, or a team of academic administrators, a virtual cooking class offers the perfect opportunity for your group to bond and unwind. Everyone will leave with recipes and practical kitchen tips they can’t wait to repeat!

The Buzz

“The Juilliard Historical Performance department invited Sarah Jane Kenner to present two sessions as part of its Symposium course.
The 30 students on the call were overwhelmingly enthusiastic about Sarah’s sessions, which [had a] focus on both classical performance and food.
Following the sessions, the students have been motivated to help each other navigate their time through college and beyond.
Sarah is a delight to communicate and plan with, and I wholeheartedly recommend her sessions to any music program.”

— Karin Brookes, Administrative Director, Juilliard Historical Performance

“I wanted our students to experience something "new" and unique, so I booked Sarah for two music history cooking classes at Musicians in the Making.
They were such a blast! We spent the evening preparing foods and learning about how each ingredient related to elements in music. Sarah shared knowledge of how the foods were significant to the time periods that we were studying as well. Her classes were engaging, fun, and interactive over Zoom!
I especially appreciated how she packaged all of the handouts and materials lists ahead of time so that our students could be readily prepared.
I would encourage any music teacher to consider Sarah's cooking classes as a way to give their students a unique hands-on learning experience!”

— Candice Choi, Director & Piano Faculty, Musicians in the Making
